Some people are born idiots..
They insist my name is Winnie and when I correct them by telling them "It is actually pronounce as Winne" then they say "Can I talk to Winnie then?"

It is just so frigging annoying. When I talk to my suppliers/agency than I have to waste time to explain that I AM the RIGHT person.
change suppliers! haha.. tell them their too dumb for your dealing with.. :P
i get that too!
they ask to speak to Annie and I say "it's Anne" and they repeat themselves like two other times before i give in.
Nowadays I'll jus go like "this is she but it's pronounce as Anne not Annie." hope its clear enough to them.
And if Esther picks up the phone she will make it very clear too.
@Anne - When I was in Genting, my colleague would go.. Winnie? Don't have wor.. Ticks them off! I did try to say that the name is actually pronounce as Winne but seems like they got more dumb founded.
LAWLL!!! I seem to never get that problem... ehehehehe=D no worries... some people are really just too dumb =/
